DOG WALKING
#walknrollwithus
DD walkers are bonded & insured, and have successfully completed First Aid Training. Our walkers excel in dog interactions and follow a compassionate and professional approach. We are members of the Toronto Dog Walkers Association.
All pups on a DD walk are fitted to a martingale collar, attached to a nylon leash, clipped into a carabiner, worn on a front clip harness, secured to your DD walker. DD walkers walk no more than 3-4 dogs of compatible temperaments at a given time.
Morning, noon or night, weekday or weekends, rain or snow, your DD walker will be there. Does your dog need food, medication, or a private walk? Let us know, we cater to all your needs. Enjoy walks with a payment schedule that works for you.

Truth is, puppies need attention, and lots of it. We supply love, attention, and potty breaks while you’re away from the den. With our help, early training will create the strong foundation of skills while forming a routine, and helping prepare them to move on to our 'Fun Time' group walks.

A tailored time for senior dogs, where not as much time is required for walking. This is about allowing them to be where they want to be, and celebrating the walk the same way we would when they were younger.

As an owner of a ‘diamond in the rough’ these pups need walks too. Almost all of these dogs get better with a consistent training plan. We are prepared to help change how your dog feels about their triggers. We’ll follow positive reinforcement and counter conditioning.

Cats often are more independent, but do need socialization and mental stimulation to. If you’re heading out of town, there’s no need to leave out one big bowl of food to spoil, or water to spill, or letting the litter box stink. We take care of all of this, and love kitty playtimes.

We have the best job ever, but all need a break every now and then. We can also provide a backup if you get sick, or have an emergency. If you need coverage for your dog walks, we can meet with you and your clients to ensure a smooth transition that gives your customers peace of mind.

Shannon grew up with dogs and lots of them. In her early 20’s, she worked as an in house pet sitter in Toronto. She then entered the corporate business world as a regional customer experience strategy manager and culture engagement manager.
After 17 years with the same company she declined a relocation offer to the United States shortly after the 2016 election.
Shannon then decided to follow her dream of once again working with dogs on a volunteer basis. She became a doggy foster parent with the TORONTO HUMANE SOCIETY, and with SAVE OUR SCRUFF. Then one day a special puppy entered her life. She was in love! He was an adorable white puppy with a brindle spot in the center of his rear-end. He looked like a bigger, goofier version of her existing pup Dozer.
Adopting Duke was not only one of the best decisions of her life, but it also made her realize working with dogs, especially those that required more patience, was her dream job. She has now come full circle, and has returned to doing what she loves -working with dogs.
Shannon’s goal is simple – to provide the best care possible for every dog in her care. This includes lots of exercise, following any positive training program you and your dog are working on, late night P&P breaks, picking up dog food, grooming drop offs, late night texts with owners, and lots of love!
“Our dog Bridge has some challenging behavior problems (especially on leash). He’s reactive toward other dogs and has a bite history. Shannon welcomed him in with open arms and stuck with our training protocols without any hiccups. We use positive reinforcement/counter-conditioning techniques and she’s been great at helping us get Bridge into a better emotional state while on walks. She sees the sweet side of him, despite his sometimes irrational behaviors.
She’s reliable and an excellent communicator - keeping us informed about every walk. We even get a few cute photos every day!
I’d recommend Shannon to anyone and completely trust her with our Bridge.”

“I originally found Shannon on a whim when we had first decided to foster Rocky and were unsure about leaving him at home while my husband and I went to work. She came to meet us and offered her services to us free of charge, which is unheard of in today’s world. Shannon, Rocky (and Dozer) bonded instantly! Once we adopted Rocky, we hired her as our walker.
Shannon always provided me with daily updates and was consistent in providing love and attention to our sweet man. She is reliable and knowledgeable, offering suggestions on equipment and ways to improve dog behavior. Shannon has been great, and I would continue to trust and reach out to her for assistance with all things dog related!”

“Shannon is such a reliable, caring and knowledgeable dog-walker. My dog Chandler and I are so thankful that we found her! She is always on time, sends updates about their walks and cares for Chandler as if he’s her own; even bringing him a home cooked rice and pumpkin dish during our first bout of sickness. I’m so happy to have her as part of our family.”
